Replacements And Changeovers
Most of our work is servicing, but not all of it. When a unit is past fixing we replace it, and when a house needs a different system, we change it over. Heating, evaporative cooling and gas hot water alike.
Replacing An Old One
When a unit is beyond repair, we quote on the new unit, installation and removal of the old one as a single price. Ducts, vents and pipework usually stay in place.
Changing System Type
Storage hot water to continuous flow, or a single-room heater to duct. We check that the gas supply can support the new system before we quote, not after.
A fixed quote before anything is disconnected, covering the unit, installation and removal of the old one.
Licensed gas fitters, so the installation is certified and all compliance paperwork is completed.
We size the unit to suit the house rather than selling you whatever we have in the van.
Brands we already service, so we know what can go wrong and what the parts cost.
Replacements are quoted rather than fixed-price, because the unit, size and run can all change the final cost. Ring us or send through the form, and we’’ come and have a look.

No. Cooling for us means evaporative coolers only. If you have a split system or a refrigerated unit, we are not the right business and we will tell you that on the phone.
How much is a service?
Between $160 and $240 depending on the appliance. The full list is further up this page and every price includes GST.
What if it needs a part?
Parts are not in the service price. We tell you what it needs and what it costs before we fit anything.
Do you install new units?
Yes. We replace units that are finished and we install new ones from scratch, including where there is no heater or cooler at all. Installs are quoted rather than fixed price.
How do I pay?
On the day the work is finished. Direct debit, EFTPOS or cash.
How far do you travel?
About half an hour from Wangaratta. The towns are listed above. If yours is not there, ring and ask.
When should I book a heater service?
Autumn if you can manage it. Once the cold weather hits, the diary fills up fast.
Is there a callout fee?
No callout fee on a booked service. Repair work is $130 an hour with a one hour minimum.
